Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hippo Maimer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TinY Toon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hippo Maimer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TinY Toon!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maimer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Toon sprawls well initially but Maimer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Maimer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Toon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Toon is looking to escape.
Toon wants to improve his position but Maimer is controlling well.
Toon is trying to stand up here but Maimer is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Toon wants to control but Maimer is keeping busy.
Toon tries to get to full guard but Maimer has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Maimer in particular looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hippo Maimer.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maimer.
Maimer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Maimer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Toon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maimer somewhat.
Maimer shoots in for a double leg but Toon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Hippo Maimer just wasn't active enough.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Maimer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Toon doesn't manage to clinch there - Maimer circles away.

Maimer moves into range and clinches up with Toon.
Toon tries to break the clinch but Maimer is controlling the position.
Toon is trying to pull guard but Maimer has him pressed against the cage.
Maimer jumps guard but Toon turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Maimer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Toon pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Toon is trying to break the clinch but Maimer has him pressed against the cage.

Toon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Toon tries for a takedown but Maimer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Maimer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Toon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nice sprawl there from Maimer as Toon shoots in.
Toon stuffs the takedown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Toon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maimer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Toon somewhat.
Toon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Maimer defends it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Maimer rushes Toon and presses him up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hippo Maimer dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Toon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maimer swivels and escapes.
Toon shoots in but Maimer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Maimer tries to clinch up but Toon circles away and keeps his distance.
Maimer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Toon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Maimer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Maimer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Toon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maimer somewhat.

Maimer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Maimer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Toon keeps working.

Toon looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Maimer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Toon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Toon works his way to full guard. Good work.
Maimer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Maimer throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Toon looking to control.
Maimer lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Toon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Maimer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Maimer wants to control from the top but Toon keeps moving.
Maimer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Maimer stopping the sweep attempt from Toon.
Maimer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
