Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Corpse Grinder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Saku Katsumoto!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katsumoto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Grinder connects with a nice looking jab.
Katsumoto throws a sloppy head kick and Grinder moves out of range easily.
Nice sprawl there from Grinder as Katsumoto shoots in.
Katsumoto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grinder circles away.
Corpse Grinder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saku Katsumoto.
Donk. Grinder catches Katsumoto right on the button with a cross.
Katsumoto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Grinder looks to land a combination. Katsumoto sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Katsumoto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Grinder digs a good hook to Katsumoto's body.
Katsumoto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Grinder listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
No joy there for Katsumoto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Katsumoto looking to score a takedown here. Grinder is defending well but Katsumoto drives through and ends up in Grinder's guard.

Katsumoto is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Grinder on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Grinder tries to get out of the position.

Katsumoto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Grinder sees it coming and defends easily.

Grinder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Katsumoto on the ground.

Katsumoto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Grinder does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Katsumoto is working to tighten is grip on Grinder's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Grinder has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Katsumoto is really squeezing tight and eventually Grinder passes out! Katsumoto breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
