Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhamad Alli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Bera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alli's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, De la Souls, by POS. Bera is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Parasite :D . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alli shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bera is looking for a sweep. Alli is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Alli will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Alli is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bera defends it well.
Alli wants to free his trapped foot but Bera is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Alli is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bera is just riding it out for now. Alli eventually gives up the hold.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Alli connects with a nice short shot to Bera's temple.

Alli drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bera looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bera looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bera!

Bera throws an elbow that misses. Alli uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bera's guard. Nice move by Alli!

Alli is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bera is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Bera is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That was a close round but I would say that Muhamad Alli will probably get the nod.

A very excited looking Matt Bera rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
