The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sword shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sword accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kocherga wants to get back to his feet but Sword passes into half guard.
Kocherga wants to control but Sword is keeping busy.
Sword trying to control from half guard but Kocherga is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sword is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kocherga has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sword has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sword is looking to take a break and control but Kocherga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sword is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kocherga has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kocherga won't allow Sword to pass to mount.
Sword seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kocherga does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kocherga tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Sword has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Sword misses with a head shot.
Kocherga wants to control but Sword is having none of it.

Kocherga is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sword tries to control but Kocherga wriggling away.
Sword working for a submission but Kocherga is keeping him at bay.
Sword swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kocherga is now in Sword's guard. A big mistake from Sword there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kocherga is looking to stand up but Sword won't let him.
Kocherga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sword swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sword working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kocherga doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sword is tightening it up a little... Kocherga has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kocherga reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kocherga taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sword!
