The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Res fails to land the takedown.

Res seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Res stops Jones from getting back to his feet.

Res is looking for a kimura here.
Jones tries to kick Res off but Res keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Res on the ground.

Res looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Res jumps guard but Jones stands there with Res around his waist. Res gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Res fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.
