The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Skantze Jr counters with a series of strikes. Lombard will be more careful next time no doubt.
Skantze Jr tries to bum rush Lombard with a series of wild strikes but Lombard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lombard throws a left and a right that both miss
and Skantze Jr counters with a one-two to the body.
Skantze Jr pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lombard back to the cage. Skantze Jr follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Skantze Jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lombard circles away quickly and effectively.
Skantze Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Skantze Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Skantze Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lombard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Skantze Jr connects with a crisp jab.
