Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Big Booty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Requiestas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Requiestas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Booty fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Requiestas avoids it really well and circles away.
Requiestas closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Requiestas throws a series of punches but Booty avoids them all with ease.
Requiestas misses with a double jab.
Requiestas misses with a few strikes there.
A telegraphed right hand from Requiestas misses the target.

Booty shoots for a double leg takedown but Requiestas sprawls well. He's pushed Booty's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Requiestas's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
