The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo II throws a push kick but Valkonie slaps the foot to one side.
Halo II throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Halo II throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Valkonie fails with the takedown
and Halo II counters with a good low kick that Valkonie was not able to check.
Halo II throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A cross from Halo II lands.
Halo II jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Halo II shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Valkonie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Valkonie throws a nice looking combination but Halo II bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Valkonie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Halo II swivels and escapes.
Nice takedown defense from Halo II. No joy for Valkonie on that attempt.
Morula Halo II has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dzindzer Valkonie.
Halo II fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Halo II paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Dzindzer Valkonie has been cut.
