The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talon wants to clinch up but Petrovich keeps it at a distance.
Petrovich avoids a punch combination nicely.
Petrovich fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Talon avoids it really well and circles away.
Talon jabs Petrovich right on the nose. Petrovich blinks but takes it well.
Talon misses with a low kick as Petrovich jumps back.
Petrovich fails with a takedown attempt.
Talon is looking to clinch.
Milo Talon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrovich defending well as Talon loads up on a big left hand.

Talon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Milo Talon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Talon tries to close the distance and clinch but Petrovich swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Talon lands a jab to Petrovich's midsection.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Petrovich.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yevgeniy Petrovich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Talon misses with a looping right.

Talon moves into the clinch.
Petrovich tries to pull guard but Talon won't allow it.
Talon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Petrovich has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Petrovich changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Talon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Petrovich walks into a left hand.
Petrovich could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Talon drives through and clinches with Petrovich against the cage.
Talon lands a big knee to the head and Petrovich goes down! Talon pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

Milo Talon bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
