And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ting Humlae!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humlae tries to clinch but Williams moves away

and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Humlae's guard now.
Williams wants to control from the top but Humlae keeps moving.

Williams clinches up with Humlae and pushes him back against the cage.

Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Humlae sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Humlae as he jumps to the side.

Williams chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Humlae can pounce on him.

Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Humlae's waist but Humlae gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.

Humlae tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Humlae seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Humlae is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Williams is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Williams has escaped and now he's on top!
Williams wants to pass the guard but Humlae is keeping the position.

Williams tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Williams prevents Humlae from escaping the position.
Humlae takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Williams wants to take a breather but Humlae manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Williams.

Williams is looking to take a break and control but Humlae is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ravel Williams.
I think Williams has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
