The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ledbetter in his tracks.
Mason connects with a single shot there.

Ledbetter is rocked!
Ledbetter throws the kick towards the body but Mason avoids it.
Ledbetter is still on wobbly legs! Can Mason finish him?
Mason misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ledbetter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ledbetter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ledbetter seems to have recovered his senses.
Mason takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mason shoots in looking for a takedown. Ledbetter tries to sprawl out of it but Mason keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ledbetter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mason takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mason stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ledbetter.
Mason cracks Ledbetter with a hook to the temple - Ledbetter is on wobbly legs here! Mason swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Ledbetter falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Mason wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Gugu Mason!
