The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis looks for the body kick but Vladimar saw that one coming.
Pettis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Vladimar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pettis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Igor Vladimar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pettis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Vladimar shoots for a double leg takedown but Pettis sprawls well. He's pushed Vladimar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vladimar avoids the head kick by Pettis.
Vladimar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pettis avoids it really well and circles away.
