Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Macarenco Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macarenco Jr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eye of the Tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Daniel Macarenco Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.
Macarenco Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Macarenco Jr is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Macarenco Jr circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Silva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silva lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Macarenco Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
