Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Laitela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Light Oscuru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kalle Laitela!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Light Oscuru!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laitela tries to clinch up but Oscuru circles away and keeps his distance.
Laitela drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Laitela shoots and misses
and Oscuru counters with an outside leg kick.

enabling Oscuru to counter with a crisp jab.
Oscuru keeps the fight on the outside.
Oscuru throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Laitela looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oscuru is fending him off so far but Laitela persists. Nope, Oscuru circles away and we're back to standing.
Oscuru scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laitela shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oscuru pinned against the cage. Oscuru gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalle Laitela. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Laitela looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Laitela darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Laitela is trying to work for a kimura but Oscuru is defending well.
Oscuru controlling the position for now.

Laitela is trying to control the action in half guard but Oscuru is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Laitela looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are battling for position here. Oscuru manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Laitela's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Laitela drops back looking for a leg! Oscuru is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Oscuru manages to kick Laitela off! Laitela jumps back into Oscuru's guard.

Laitela drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Laitela jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Laitela postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Oscuru looking to hit a scissor sweep but Laitela is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oscuru manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Laitela manages to get himself to full guard.

Laitela has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Oscuru doesn't defend quickly enough and Laitela has managed to lock this one up! Can Oscuru escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Laitela on a fantastic submission victory.
