Vladimirovitch comes to the ring accompanied by Sweet Child O' Mine. Knight has chosen Why Can't We be Friends as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jedi Knight!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimirovitch misses with a few strikes there.
Knight tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vladimirovitch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knight somewhat.
Vladimirovitch shoots in for a takedown but Knight shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Knight tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Vladimirovitch shoots in and gets a takedown into Knight's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Vladimirovitch missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Knight tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Knight has control of Vladimirovitch's left arm, preventing Vladimirovitch from doing any damage.
Vladimirovitch loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Knight pulls Vladimirovitch in close to prevent any damage.

Vladimirovitch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jedi Knight was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Knight lands with a hammerfist to the side of Vladimirovitch's head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Knight drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Vladimirovitch is in real trouble here! Knight lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Knight is delighted!

A less than humble Jedi Knight misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
