The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kritzkiy moves out of range of the strikes.
Kritzkiy misses with a straight right.
Kritzkiy tries to clinch there but Vanagandr circles away.
Kritzkiy connects with a jab.
Vanagandr bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vanagandr blocks a head kick by Kritzkiy.
Kritzkiy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vanagandr circles away quickly and effectively.
A swing and a miss from Kritzkiy.
Kritzkiy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kritzkiy misses with a right hand

and Vanagandr holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kritzkiy is trying to push Vanagandr away but Vanagandr has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Kritzkiy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vanagandr avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Vanagandr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Sev Kritzkiy has been cut.
Sev Kritzkiy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vanagandr looks to score with a jab to the body but Kritzkiy is just out of range.
Kritzkiy misses with a straight right.

Vanagandr cracks Kritzkiy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kritzkiy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vanagandr finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vanagandr throws a right hand that Kritzkiy ducks under and follows up with a left that Kritzkiy also avoids with ease.
Vanagandr thows a body shot but no joy.
Vanagandr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kritzkiy.
Vanagandr lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Kritzkiy head around and knocks him out cold! Vanagandr hops onto the ropes and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
