The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai throws a lazy uppercut
and King counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Thai is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Thai throws a right hand that King ducks under and follows up with a left that King also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

King shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thai manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
King has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
King is looking to stand up but Thai won't let him.

King connects with a leg kick. Thai looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Thai shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side.

Thai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
