Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mercutio Benvolio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes to the cage accompanied by Bon Jovi - It's my life. Mercutio Benvolio has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mercutio Benvolio!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benvolio lands with a right hand.
Benvolio moves out of range of the leg kick from Savage.
Savage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Benvolio tries to avoid it but Savage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Benvolio to the ground. Benvolio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Savage throws a sloppy head kick and Benvolio moves out of range easily.
Benvolio scores with a sloppy right hand. Savage should have avoided that one.
Savage looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Savage misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Savage tried to score with a low kick but Benvolio checks it.

Benvolio throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Savage.

Benvolio throws a front kick aimed at Savage's knee but Savage avoids it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Savage shoots in looking for a takedown. Benvolio tries to sprawl out of it but Savage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Benvolio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Savage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Savage is looking for a kimura but Benvolio is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Savage to get the leverage.
