Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Gaea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaea has chosen When I'm Gone (Remix) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gaea steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jackson.
Jackson looks to land a right hand but Gaea moved out of range.
Jackson throws a right hand that misses
and Gaea counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet.
Jackson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gaea.
Gaea is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Gaea is trying to control the action in half guard but Jackson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gaea is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gaea passes to full mount!
Gaea has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gaea goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jackson turns into him and now he's in Gaea's guard.
Gaea working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jackson slips a nice elbow through Gaea's hands, connecting with Gaea's forehead.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gaea, up you get!

and Gaea counters with a takedown into side control.

Gaea has hold of Jackson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jackson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gaea cranks the arm and Jackson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jackson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
