The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ankka stuns Gracie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ankka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it.
Ankka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ankka throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.

Ankka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ankka pinned against the cage. Ankka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rankka Ankka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ankka is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Ankka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ankka throws a push kick but Gracie slaps the foot to one side.

Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ankka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ankka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ankka lands a big head kick that sends Gracie to the canvas! Ankka follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
