Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brad Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitsuyo Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitsuyo Maeda is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda misses with a low kick.
Maeda shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davis but Davis pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Davis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Maeda sprawls well initially but Davis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Maeda defends it well.
