PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rand al Thor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Bear is looking to clinch but al Thor is avoiding it.
al Thor moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bear throws a lazy head kick
and al Thor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

al Thor forces Bear back against the cage and clinches.
Bear digs a right hand into al Thor's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on al Thor's gas tank.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
al Thor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
al Thor is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Bear checks a leg kick nicely.

Bear drives through and clinches with al Thor against the cage.
Bear trying to control the position but instead, al Thor has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bear into the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Bear misses with an elbow over the top.
Bear lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Bear fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
al Thor connects with a body shot that sends Bear's belly button to the back.

al Thor closes the distance and pushes Bear back into the cage.

Bear is trying to stall.
al Thor swings wildly with an uppercut but Bear uses good head movement to avoid it.
al Thor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bear can do to turn this around?
With the fighters clinched against the cage, al Thor creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bear takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bear is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bear gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from al Thor! Bear is out on his feet! al Thor rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bear is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bear is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
