Mauricio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fryer stuffs the takedown attempt from Mauricio. Mauricio gets slowly back to his feet.
Latifah Mauricio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mauricio lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mauricio blocks a head kick by Fryer.
Fryer blocks a low kick nicely.

Fryer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mauricio on his heels. He'll look to pass Mauricio's guard now, I'm sure.
Fryer stands and throws Mauricio's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mauricio is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fryer connects with a decent elbow.

Latifah Mauricio's cut is getting worse.

Fryer looks up at the clock and then as Mauricio takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Fryer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
