Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Warren Adams!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Herbert West!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams closes the distance and clinches up with West, looking for a takedown. Adams pushes West against the cage but West circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
West tries to close the distance and clinch but Adams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Adams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. West looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
West tries to bench press Adams off him but Adams keeps the position.
Adams tries to move into full mount but can't pass West's legs.

Adams tries for a kimura but West is defending well.
West is trying to control Adams's posture but Adams avoids it.
Adams tries to advance to mount but West denies him.

West avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Adams.
Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
