Howard is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Brock Howard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Howard looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Howard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Severe closes the distance and clinches.

Severe turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Severe prevents Howard from escaping the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Howard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Howard tries to get out of the position.
