Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Eberson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eberson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Santiago keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Santiago misses with a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Santiago. Eberson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Santiago closes the distance and clinches.
Santiago putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Eberson in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Santiago throws a push kick but Eberson slaps the foot to one side.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Eberson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Santiago is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Eberson defends well.

Santiago will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Eberson trying to control the position from guard on top but Santiago is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Santiago utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Eberson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eberson won't allow Santiago to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Santiago connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Eberson momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Santiago uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eberson.

Santiago lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Santiago wants to clinch.

Santiago connects with a body shot that sends Eberson's belly button to the back.

Santiago throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Eberson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Santiago to score with a decent uppercut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Santiago throws a series of punches but Eberson moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Santiago connects with an inside leg kick.
Santiago stalks Eberson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Eberson's face. Eberson staggers backwards, shaken.

Santiago throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Santiago lands a nice shot to the body.
Santiago is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Santiago lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Eberson falls backwards - clearly groggy! Santiago dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Santiago!
