The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Riviera moves away from the strike by Heer.
Riviera misses with a hook.
Riviera swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Heer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Riviera as he jumps to the side.
Riviera throws a lazy right hand but Heer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Heer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Riviera circles away quickly and effectively.
Heer looks to land a left hand but Riviera moved out of range nicely.
Riviera throws a hook but Heer avoids it easily.
Heer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Riviera lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Heer at a distance.
Riviera lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Heer is defended easily by Riviera.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Riviera takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Heer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Riviera sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Heer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Riviera connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Heer scrambles back to his feet.

Riviera takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Riviera might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Heer is rocked!
Riviera lands with a big left! Heer is wobbled badly! Riviera comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Heer to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
