Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vlad The Impaler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Icaro Asas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Impaler comes into the arena with Δράκων blaring out of the sound system. Icaro Asas will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Asas jumps guard.
The Impaler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Asas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Impaler wants to stand but Asas is controlling his posture from full guard.
The Impaler is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Vlad The Impaler has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

The Impaler throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The Impaler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The Impaler punishes Asas's body with a nice straight punch.
Asas looks gassed!

Asas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. The Impaler fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The Impaler fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Asas on the side of the head.
The Impaler scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Asas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The Impaler cracks Asas on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Asas falls backwards against the cage. The Impaler follows up with more strikes that drop Asas to his knees. The Impaler keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Asas! This one is all over!

After the fight, Vlad The Impaler was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
