Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lamb of God - Descending kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Conrad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Furious George!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conrad has his takedown stuffed
and George counters with a right hand to the body.
Conrad scores with a nice strike.
Conrad tries to close the distance and clinch up but George swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Conrad gets caught flat footed, as George shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
George throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
George landing with the ground and pound.
George is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
George lands a couple of decent looking shots.
George postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Conrad knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for George on the ground.

George doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

This has been an exciting period of action!

George is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Conrad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

George is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Conrad has escaped the position, nice work there.
George is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Conrad will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
George lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Conrad down.
George is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Conrad's shoulder. That is not cool.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Furious George dominated that round.
That's time! Conrad's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
George's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Furious George has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
George fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

No joy there for Conrad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

George has an Americana. Conrad didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! George is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if George hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
