The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bears bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Punk's guard.
Bears distracts Punk with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bears can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bears is bucking up trying to escape but Punk cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Punk is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Punk!

In his post fight interview, CM Punk started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
