The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molotow gets caught napping as Palhares dives in and scores a takedown. Molotow manages to retain guard.
Molotow wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Palhares is now in half guard.
Molotow tries to roll over but Palhares keeps him under control.
Palhares is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Molotow is just riding it out for now. Palhares eventually gives up the hold.
Molotow is staying active underneath Palhares, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
