The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dameshek blocks a head kick by Ramirez.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dameshek drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ramirez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dameshek has Ramirez in his guard.
Ramirez is sitting in close to Dameshek's body. Dameshek has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ramirez is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ramirez is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dameshek.
