Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClain swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Matwijenko misses with a few strikes there.
Matwijenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McClain takes a swing at Matwijenko's ribcage but misses.
Matwijenko throws a nice outside leg kick.
McClain blocks the body kick.
Matwijenko throws a head kick but McClain moves out of range.
Matwijenko takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Matwijenko feints a jab promting McClain to slip. Matwijenko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McClain slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Darron McClain has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Matwijenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McClain on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Matwijenko lands a big head kick that sends McClain tumbling to the mat! Matwijenko takes a step backwards and waves McClain back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Matwijenko cracks McClain with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Matwijenko has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McClain to stand back up!
McClain is rocked!
That has opened up Darron McClain's cut even more.
McClain misses with an uppercut. Matwijenko saw that one coming.
McClain is still on wobbly legs! Can Matwijenko finish him?
Matwijenko scores with a hook to the body. McClain takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McClain takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
McClain seems to have recovered his senses.
McClain looks gassed!
McClain misses with a straight left.
McClain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McClain blocks a head kick by Matwijenko.
McClain throws an off balance right hand
and Matwijenko counters with a nice body kick.
Matwijenko connects with an inside leg kick.
Matwijenko scores with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matwijenko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Matwijenko tries a head kick but it misses.
Matwijenko lands a big head kick that sends McClain tumbling to the mat! Matwijenko takes a step backwards and waves McClain back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The cut above Darron McClain's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Matwijenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Matwijenko sends McClain crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Matwijenko is motioning to the referee to let McClain up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Darron McClain's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Matwijenko misses with a straight left.
Matwijenko slips under a jab.
Matwijenko misses with a head kick.
Matwijenko connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt McClain covering up! Matwijenko comes in with a big uppercut and McClain goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Iwan Matwijenko!
