Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Trik Turner - Friends and Family. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves circles away from the clinch attempt
and Alves makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A jab from Alves does it's job there.
Alves lands a nice shot that snaps Silver's head back.

It looks like Anderson Silver has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alves dips to his left and cracks Silver with an uppercut!

Silver is rocked!
Alves just misses with a punch to the body.
Silver doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Alves counters with a crisp right that sends Silver to the canvas! Alves follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
