Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenshiro Kasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Gunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kasumi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ai Wo Torimodose aka Song of Manliness. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunderson looks to land a left hand but Kasumi moved out of range nicely.
Kasumi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kasumi tests Gunderson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gunderson throws a shot from downtown. Kasumi moves away and avoids it.
Kasumi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gunderson fails to land with a series of punches.
Gunderson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sloppy strikes from Gunderson. Those never looked like landing.
Gunderson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kasumi. That one must have hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kasumi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kasumi lands a front kick.
Gunderson looks gassed!
Kasumi's corner calls for a 1-2. Kasumi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kasumi.

Kasumi lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kasumi is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That kick from Kasumi tenderised Gunderson's leg. Gunderson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kasumi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kasumi shoots in and bounces Gunderson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kasumi drops back looking for a leg! Gunderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gunderson manages to kick Kasumi off! Kasumi jumps back into Gunderson's guard.
Kasumi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kasumi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kasumi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kasumi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kasumi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Gunderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kasumi is controlling him.
Kasumi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kasumi stands and throws Gunderson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gunderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kasumi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gunderson wants to get back to his feet but Kasumi is dominant here and he's now got Gunderson's back!
