PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aurin Lokren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cro Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lokren might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Execute. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cop misses with a takedown

and Lokren counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cop won't be happy with that.
Cop is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lokren controlling the position from side mount.
Cop is trying to get back to his feet.
Cop is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lokren off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cop gets his hands free as Lokren looks to control.

Cop struggling to land strikes to the head as Lokren covers up.
Cop scores with punches from the back.
Will Cop go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
I really don't envy Lokren right now.
Lokren is trying to stand back up.

Lokren wants to escape the position.

Cop is working for a rear naked choke. Lokren is not defending it well and Cop has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lokren refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lokren's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
