Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lachlan Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Sully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by ready to Roll, The Black Dahlias. Sully has chosen I See You as his entrance music. Jake Sully has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lachlan Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Sully!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sully moves out of range of the body kick from Anderson.
Sully rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sully lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Anderson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sully connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Anderson scrambles back to his feet.
Sully misses with an uppercut. Anderson saw that one coming.

Anderson tries to keep at a distance but Sully has taken the fight into the clinch.
Anderson tries to break the clinch but Sully is controlling the position.
Come on Sully - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Anderson tries to work over Sully's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sully gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Anderson.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sully doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Anderson counters with a left to the body.
Anderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Sully sprawls well. He's pushed Anderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lachlan Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Anderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sully manages to avoid it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sully lands a nice forearm strike.
Sully in side control, throwing shots but Anderson defends.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sully is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anderson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Anderson parries the strikes from Sully easily there. Sully is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Anderson to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sully misses with the ground and pound.
Sully in side control lands a decent elbow.
Sully throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Sully dominated that round.

Sully is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Sully throws out a loose jab but Anderson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Anderson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sully might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Sully tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Anderson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Anderson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Anderson wants to slow Sully down by chopping away at his legs.

Sully has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Anderson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sully to score with a decent uppercut.

Sully is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Anderson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sully.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Anderson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sully connects with a right hand. Anderson shakes it off.
Sully throws a low kick but Anderson avoids it.
Anderson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sully looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Sully dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Sully lands with a hook. Anderson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Sully shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Anderson but Anderson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fight stays on the outside here - Sully looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oooh a lovely combination from Sully sends Anderson down but not out. Sully dives into side control looking to finish.

Sully cracks Anderson with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Sully immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Anderson is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Sully!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Sully!
A very excited looking Jake Sully rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
