Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burton comes to the cage accompanied by Carcass - Keep on Rotting in the Free World. Mark Dexter looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Fred Burton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Dexter!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dexter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Burton regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burton is staying active underneath Dexter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Dexter is nestled in close to Burton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Dexter is working for a kimura but Burton is defending it quite comfortably.

Burton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dexter's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dexter's back!

Dexter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Burton defends it easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Burton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dexter's guard.

Mark Dexter dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dexter with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Burton to score with a decent uppercut.
Dexter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Burton doesn't seem bothered though.
Mark Dexter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dexter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Burton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dexter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Burton has managed to get both his arms back between Dexter's legs - danger averted.

In his post fight interview, Fred Burton started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
