Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dimitry Slova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Rautavaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rautavaara works Slova's body with a nice hook.

Slova darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rautavaara is controlling Slova's trapped leg to prevent Slova from advancing to side control.
Rautavaara tries to get to full guard but Slova has control of the leg.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rautavaara looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rautavaara wants to control but Slova is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Slova is trying to control the action in half guard but Rautavaara is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Slova fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rautavaara is out of range.
Rautavaara tries to clinch up but Slova circles away and keeps his distance.

Rautavaara lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Slova closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Slova tries to move to full mount but Rautavaara actually manages to regain half guard.
Rautavaara wants to control but Slova is keeping busy.

Slova uses his free foot to push down on Rautavaara's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rautavaara.

Slova tries to control but Rautavaara wriggling away.
Slova lands a big elbow.
Slova looking to control but Rautavaara is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Slova is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Slova is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Rautavaara has given up his back here.
Rautavaara is still on wobbly legs! Can Slova finish him?
Slova lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Slova is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Slova gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Slova gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Slova apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Slova clinches.
Rautavaara jumps guard but Slova stands there with Rautavaara around his waist. Rautavaara gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Slova tries to break the clinch but Rautavaara is controlling the position.

Slova pulls guard.
Slova is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Slova has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Slova working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Slova is landing with some decent strikes but Rautavaara is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The referee warns Rautavaara that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Slova shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Slova slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Slova lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
