Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Iain Durrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Saint Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon Saint Randy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 22 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brandon Saint Randy!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Saint Randy is defended easily by Durrant.
Saint Randy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Durrant looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Saint Randy throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Durrant counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Durrant stops Saint Randy from standing up.
Saint Randy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Durrant can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Durrant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Durrant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saint Randy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Durrant scoring with punches to the head and body.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saint Randy throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Durrant gets to his feet - Saint Randy follows without any prompting.

Saint Randy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Durrant wants to pass the guard but Saint Randy is keeping the position.
Durrant controls from within his opponent's guard.
Durrant passes Saint Randy's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Durrant is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Saint Randy sees it coming and defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Durrant is working for a kimura but Saint Randy is defending it quite comfortably.
Durrant works his foot free and advances to mount.
Durrant is working for a guillotine from mount but Saint Randy frees his head quite easily.

Durrant landing strikes from the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durrant is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Saint Randy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Saint Randy shrugs it off.
Saint Randy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Durrant lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Saint Randy is trying to escape the mount.
Durrant works his way to his opponent's back.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Durrant's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Durrant working for a choke but Saint Randy is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saint Randy tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Saint Randy is squirming around, avoiding Durrant's attempts to control the action.
Durrant goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Saint Randy is on top in guard.
Saint Randy wants to stand and escape but instead Durrant has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Durrant works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iain Durrant dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Saint Randy misses with an uppercut
and Durrant counters with a single leg into guard. Saint Randy didn't expect that.
Durrant drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Durrant jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Saint Randy wants to stand up but Durrant is controlling him.
Saint Randy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Durrant trying to control the position from guard on top but Saint Randy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Saint Randy wants to stand up but Durrant is controlling him.
Durrant decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Saint Randy, up you get!

Saint Randy misses with a takedown
and Durrant counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Saint Randy is breathing heavily.
Durrant drops back looking for a leg! Saint Randy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Saint Randy manages to kick Durrant off! Durrant jumps back into Saint Randy's guard.
Durrant passes Saint Randy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Durrant wants to work for an arm triangle but Saint Randy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Durrant uses his free foot to push down on Saint Randy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Saint Randy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Durrant has control of Saint Randy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Saint Randy regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Saint Randy is squirming around, avoiding Durrant's attempts to control the action.

Durrant takes Saint Randy's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Saint Randy is in trouble.
Durrant is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Saint Randy has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Durrant has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Saint Randy taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Durrant doesn't care though - he's delighted!
