The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corrales fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thomas manages to avoid it.
Thomas lands the left hand.
A chopping leg kick lands by Thomas.
Thomas misses with a wild body shot.
Thomas moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Corrales throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Corrales on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Corrales takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thomas throws a quick inside leg kick.
Corrales looks gassed!

Corrales misses with an uppercut.

Thomas has closed the distance and engaged Corrales in a clinch.
Corrales is trying to push Thomas away but Thomas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Thomas.
Corrales jumps guard but Thomas stands there with Corrales around his waist. Corrales gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Corrales is looking to control Thomas's arms but Thomas gets an underhook and turns him. Now Corrales has his back to the cage.

Thomas tries a body shot but Corrales blocks it.
Thomas misses with a hook to the ribs.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Thomas.
Thomas lands a body shot.
Thomas works on Corrales's body with a couple of short punches.
Thomas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Thomas throws a quick head kick that knocks Corrales silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Thomas is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
