Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Pribko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Gagnon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gagnon has chosen Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pribko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gagnon moves away.
Pribko rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gagnon counters with a stiff right hand.
Gagnon drops his hands momentarily and Pribko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gagnon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pribko takes a swing at Gagnon's ribcage but misses.

Gagnon takes one to the side of the head.
Pribko moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Pribko lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gagnon backs up against the ropes.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Pribko remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Pribko will probably get the nod.

Ivan Pribko decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
