Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between panGGa Forever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, panGGa Forever!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bob Killer!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Forever feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Forever is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Killer is trying to control the position but Forever postures up.
Killer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Forever has gone for a leg lock! Killer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Forever's guard.
Killer trying to control the position from guard on top but Forever is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Forever has control of Killer's left arm, preventing Killer from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Forever manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Forever with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Killer can't escape the position.
Forever looking to finish with strikes here!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Forever goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Killer turns into him and now he's in Forever's guard.
Killer advances position into side control!
Forever being controlled for a moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Forever holding on.
Killer wants to control but Forever is keeping him busy.
You can see the frustration on Forever's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Forever manages to get back to half guard.
Forever regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Killer.
Killer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Forever trying to control the position.
Forever looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Forever is defended easily by Killer.

Forever scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Forever is trying to get an arm triangle but Killer is defending well.
Killer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Forever. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Killer takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Forever swings around for an armbar but Killer sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Forever's guard.
Killer looking to sit in guard and control but Forever gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Killer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Forever is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Killer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Forever defends it easily.
Forever trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Forever has gone for a leg lock! Killer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Forever's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Killer looking to pass the guard.
Killer trying to control but Forever is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Forever has a closed guard, preventing Killer from standing up.

Bob Killer has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Forever shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Killer's guard.
Killer wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Forever is now in half guard.
Forever wants to lay and pray for a moment but Killer keeps working.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Forever looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Killer keeping hold of Forever's head, controlling as best he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

panGGa Forever dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Forever shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Killer as he jumps to the side.
Nice sprawl there from Killer as Forever shoots in.

Killer closes the distance and pushes Forever back into the cage.
Killer trying to stall but Forever improves his position.
Forever drops down looking for an ankle pick but Killer pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for panGGa Forever. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Forever shoots and misses

and Killer moves into the clinch.
Forever takes an elbow to the temple.
Killer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Killer stops a takedown attempt from Forever.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Forever stops a takedown attempt from Killer.
Killer stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Killer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Forever.
Forever is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Killer pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Forever tries for a takedown but Killer manages to get underhooks.

Killer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Forever gets caught flat footed, as Killer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Killer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Forever pulls Killer in to control the position.
Killer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
panGGa Forever overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Forever enables Killer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Forever manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Killer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Killeris looking to pass into half guard but Forever pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Forever is in guard.
Killer throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Forever trying to control the position from guard on top but Killer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Killer pushes Forever off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Forever has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Killer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Forever quickly recovers to half guard.
Killer slows the pace down in half guard.

Killer decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Killer clinches with his opponent.
Killer gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Killer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Forever enables Killer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Forever manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Forever keeping moving, preventing Killer from controlling successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Killer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bob Killer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Forever has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
