The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turmoil keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Turmoil.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is looking for a sweep.

Turmoil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Turmoil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Silva wants to control but Turmoil postures up.
Turmoil wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Turmoil wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Turmoil is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.
Turmoil is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.

Turmoil shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Silva cracks a nice hook into Turmoil's ribs.

Silva throws a nice looking combination but Turmoil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
