Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Rovanpera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardly's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem- Not Afraid. Rovanpera is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Die Antwoord - Enter The Ninja. Dan Hardly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardly misses with a double jab
and Rovanpera counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rovanpera tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hardly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rovanpera throws a lazy body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Rovanpera avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rovanpera throws a sloppy head kick and Hardly moves out of range easily.
Hardly fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rovanpera is out of range.
Hardly scores with a head kick. Rovanpera tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Good leg kick by Hardly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That was a close round but I would say that Dan Hardly will probably get the nod.

Hardly's corner calls for a 1-2. Hardly obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A slow jab from Rovanpera misses its intended target.
Hardly tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rovanpera is able to avoid easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rovanpera. Hardly does a little dance to reset his feet.

Rovanpera on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Hardly looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hardly backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Rovanpera's temple! It sends Rovanpera violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hardly celebrates and the doctors try to help Rovanpera!

A relieved looking Dan Hardly thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
