Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gary Richards!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beware changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Richards looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Richards tries to buck Beware off but Beware is having none of it.
Richards is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Beware tries to stand but can't do so whilst Richards controls his leg.
Beware decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Richards swings for the body but Beware moves out of range.
Beware blocks a jab.
Beware throws a jab but it's blocked by Richards.
Beware rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Richards moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Richards will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Richards shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Richards is rocked!
It looks like Gary Richards has been cut.
Richards slips a jab and a cross from Beware.
Richards is still on wobbly legs! Can Beware finish him?
Richards is holding his hands too far apart here. Beware throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Richards is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
