Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Starrk Lobos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lobos has chosen Alfred Hitchcock Theme as his entrance music. The key to victory for Denis Kang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denis Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Starrk Lobos!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kang pinned against the cage. Kang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kang scores with a shot to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kang, right into the meat.
Kang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lobos walks into a stiff left hand from Kang.

Kang scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kang is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lobos manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kang advances position into side control!
Lobos manages to get back to half guard.
Lobos tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kang wants to work for an arm triangle but Lobos is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lobos tries to get to full guard but Kang has control of the leg.
Kang looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Lobos is trying to get back to full guard.

Kang is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Lobos is defending against the submission attempts here by Kang.
Kang is breathing heavily.
Lobos wants to get back to full guard.
Lobos missing with punches from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lobos is looking for a sweep. Kang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kang trying to pass the guard but Lobos defending well.
Lobos tries to roll over but Kang keeps him under control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Kang is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kang lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Lobos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lobos looking for submissions off his back.
Lobos tries to get to full guard but Kang has control of the leg.

Kang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kang moves into full mount! Lobos won't be happy about that!
Lobos takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Kang has control of Lobos's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lobos regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Lobos is desperately trying to improve his position but Kang has a good base and remains in mount.

Kang is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lobos has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Kang working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lobos taking shots to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kang jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lobos manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Kang wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lobos, who protects the arm well.
Lobos is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kang's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Kang is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.


Lobos is rocked!
Lobos is in trouble now - Kang has advanced to mount!
Lobos is still in real trouble! Can Kang finish him?
Kang postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lobos looks a forlorn figure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kang has hold of Lobos's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lobos manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kang lands a big shot there that rocks Lobos but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Denis Kang dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kang cracks Lobos with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lobos falls to his knees and Kang doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denis Kang!
