Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Tankard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Haidar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tankard's entrance music is Hollywood Undead - Everywhere I Go. A fine choice. Adam Tankard has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adam Tankard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Reggie Haidar!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haidar throws a jab when Tankard was well out of range.
Haidar looks to land a left hand but Tankard moved out of range nicely.
Haidar tests Tankard's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Tankard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Haidar on his heels. He'll look to pass Haidar's guard now, I'm sure.
Tankard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haidar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tankard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tankard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tankard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Haidar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tankard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Haidar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tankard slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tankard is pulling down on Haidar's head. It's preventing any offense from Haidar, at least for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tankard throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Haidar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tankard is in Haidar's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Adam Tankard.

Tankard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tankard lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Tankard lands a hook that snaps the head of Haidar backwards.

Tankard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tankard shoots for a double leg takedown but Haidar sprawls well. He's pushed Tankard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tankard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Haidar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Haidar takes a swing at Tankard's ribcage but misses.
Tankard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Haidar is fending him off so far but Tankard persists. Nope, Haidar circles away and we're back to standing.
Tankard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haidar's waist but Haidar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tankard off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Tankard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tankard shoots in looking for a takedown. Haidar tries to sprawl out of it but Tankard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Haidar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tankard has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Haidar cracks Tankard with a right hand to the side of the head.
Haidar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tankard closes the distance and clinches up with Haidar, looking for a takedown. Tankard pushes Haidar against the cage but Haidar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tankard, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Reggie Haidar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
