Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ser Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Zhirinovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhirinovsky has chosen Zhirinovsky and Serega - Murka as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zhirinovsky circles away quickly and effectively.

Zhirinovsky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Potter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Zhirinovsky content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Zhirinovsky goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Potter rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zhirinovsky's guard! Nice work there by Potter!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Potter throws a strike but Zhirinovsky rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Potter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zhirinovsky on the ground.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Let's hope that Zhirinovsky has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Potter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Zhirinovsky is working to tighten is grip on Potter's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Potter has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Zhirinovsky is really squeezing tight and eventually Potter passes out! Zhirinovsky breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Vladimir Zhirinovsky decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
