The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra is looking to clinch but Truesdale is avoiding it.

Serra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Truesdale swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Truesdale rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Serra moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Serra enables Truesdale to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Serra manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Truesdale is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rab Truesdale hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Serra lands with a kick to the temple. Truesdale shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
